BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
During your studies, you will acquire practical and applicable knowledge in economics, marketing, business communication, computer science, mathematics, law, and foreign language communication. The programme can support career advancement, help you retain your current position, enable a transition into business-related fields, or provide a strong foundation for starting your own business.
Graduates enjoy career opportunities in economics, accounting, marketing, banking, insurance, accounting services, sole proprietorships, public institutions, and Slovenian as well as international companies of various sizes and industries. HOSPITALITY AND TOURISM
Hospitality and tourism are among the most promising, dynamic, and rapidly growing industries in Slovenia and worldwide. The programme prepares students to organise and manage a wide range of activities within hospitality and tourism businesses.
Career opportunities include managing work processes, hotels and hospitality establishments, working in hotel reception, travel agencies, tour management, procurement and sales, team leadership, operational supervision, business analysis, implementation of environmental, technical and safety standards, quality management systems, as well as positions in kitchens or food and beverage services.
CIVIL ENGINEERING
The Civil Engineering programme prepares students to perform and organise a wide variety of professional tasks related to construction works, building material production, design and engineering, as well as positions within public administration, real estate agencies, vocational education, technical consulting, engineering sales, investment consultancy, and related fields.
COMPUTER SCIENCE AND INFORMATICS
Graduates of Computer Science and Informatics are highly employable in medium-sized and large organisations with established information and communication technology systems, including banks, public enterprises, educational institutions, multinational companies, and public organisations.
Graduates may also pursue careers in specialised IT companies providing ICT solutions, systems, and user support, or establish their own business. As information technology continues to play an increasingly important role in modern society, opportunities for innovation and entrepreneurship in this field are virtually unlimited.
Typical job positions include IT Specialist, Software Maintenance Engineer, Web Developer, and IT Support Manager.
COSMETOLOGY
The Cosmetology programme is designed for individuals who enjoy working with people and wish to develop advanced knowledge of beauty, cosmetic products, healthy lifestyles, skincare, massage techniques, skin treatments, modern cosmetic technologies, as well as entrepreneurial knowledge and business skills.
Graduates most commonly find employment in beauty salons and cosmetic centres offering a variety of beauty treatments, while many also establish their own successful businesses.
LOGISTICS ENGINEERING
Logistics is becoming an increasingly important industry worldwide, making practically trained logistics professionals highly sought after by employers.
Graduates may pursue careers in specialised Slovenian or international logistics companies, where global supply chains require professionals capable of ensuring the efficient and timely movement of goods and materials.
MECHATRONICS
The Mechatronics programme provides comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge required for independent professional work in the field of mechatronics.
Modern industry demands the integration of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation, information technologies, economics, management, environmental protection, innovation, and creativity. As a result, Mechatronics Engineers are among the most sought-after professionals on today’s labour market. MEDIA PRODUCTION

SOCIAL NETWORK ORGANISER
The Social Network Organiser programme prepares students with practical skills for planning, organising, implementing, and developing local social support networks.
Career opportunities include employment in non-governmental organisations, social work centres, youth homes, maternity homes, safe houses, residential care homes, home care services, crisis centres, and many other organisations within the social welfare sector. Graduates may also establish their own institute or independent organisation providing specialised social support services.
MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
Mechanical Engineers are highly sought-after professionals due to continuous technological development. Career opportunities include robotics, the automotive industry, department management, supervision of technological processes, maintenance engineering, and entrepreneurship.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
The Environmental Protection and Municipal Services programme provides highly valuable knowledge in solving environmental challenges, designing utility systems, and preventing harmful environmental impacts. Students gain practical insight into environmental technologies and may even develop innovative ideas for renewable energy solutions such as solar power plants or heat pump systems.

WELLNESS

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
For admission to the programmes Business Management / Accounting, Hospitality and Tourism, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Informatics, Cosmetology, Logistics Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Protection and Municipal Services, and Wellness, applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
- successful completion of the General Matura, the Vocational Matura, or an equivalent qualification obtained under previous regulations;
- successful completion of the Master Craftsman, Foreman, or Managerial Examination, together with three years of relevant work experience and successful completion of examinations in general education subjects at the level required for the Vocational Matura in secondary technical education.
For admission to the Media Production programme, applicants must, in addition to the general admission requirements listed above:
- successfully pass an aptitude and skills assessment. Applicants are required to prepare a media project (consisting of photography, video, audio production, web production, computer animation, or similar media content) and submit it as part of their application for admission.
For admission to the Social Network Organiser programme, applicants must, in addition to the general admission requirements listed above:
- successfully complete a psychophysical aptitude assessment.

ERUDIO, Higher Vocational College has a long-standing tradition in adult education. Under the names ZARIS, EURO ŠOLA Ljubljana, and IRC Institute, we have been present in the education sector for almost 30 years.
We are among the first educational institutions in Slovenia to offer a modern e-learning study format.
We provide part-time study programmes designed for employed students and individuals with demanding schedules. We are also a popular choice among Slovenian athletes thanks to our personalised approach and flexible study arrangements. In 2021, we received the prestigious Athlete-Friendly Education award.
Athletes who submit an application and meet the eligibility criteria are assigned to a category that entitles them to a 15% tuition discount (elite athletes) or a 7% tuition discount (categorised athletes).
Tuition discounts are also available to other students, particularly through our Loyalty Discount and Family Discount schemes. Special tuition discounts and long-term cooperation opportunities are also available for companies.
How does studying at ERUDIO Higher Vocational College work?
With carefully selected lecturers from industry, the use of modern active teaching methods, and the advantages offered by e-learning, we provide high-quality, modern, practice-oriented higher vocational education for part-time students.
Lectures are held twice a week in the afternoon and are delivered in modular form.
Upon enrolment, every student receives the timetable for the entire academic year, allowing them to plan and coordinate their professional and personal commitments well in advance.
We also offer ONLINE study, enabling students to attend lectures from home either live or on demand.
Within each study programme, students can choose between two study packages:

WORK-BASED LEARNING
At ERUDIO,Higher Vocational College, we encourage students to independently arrange their Practical Training with an employer of their choice. Although the College has cooperation agreements with a number of employers for the provision of Practical Training, available placements cannot be guaranteed due to the reduced capacity resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic and the post-pandemic period.
Prospective students who are already employed in a relevant professional field may apply for the recognition of Practical Training on the basis of their previous work experience. Throughout the entire process, students receive guidance and support from the Practical Training Coordinator at the College.

BUSINESS MANAGEMENT / ACCOUNTING
Currency exchange, bill payments, loans, inflation, balance sheets… These are concepts that almost everyone encounters at different stages of their personal and professional lives. However, it is the business professional who truly understands them and applies them effectively in practice.
During your studies, you will acquire advanced knowledge in business operations, marketing, business processes, and information technology. After graduation, you will be qualified for a wide range of career opportunities, including accounting, procurement, marketing, and administration.
The programme offers ACCOUNTING and BUSINESS MANAGEMENT specialisations.
Upon successful completion of the programme, graduates are awarded the professional title Business Management Technician.

CIVIL ENGINEERING
Civil engineering is a field that is always relevant, and the work of a civil engineer is highly dynamic. The nature of the work depends on the area of civil engineering in which you are employed. At ERUDIO Higher Vocational College, we offer the DESIGN and OPERATIONS modules. A design engineer plans construction projects and typically works in an office, calculating, designing, and preparing technical documentation.
A site engineer manages the entire construction process on the sites under their supervision, overseeing construction work from the initial project assignment through to the issuance of the occupancy permit.
Upon successful completion of the programme, graduates are awarded the professional title Civil Engineering Technician.
COMPUTER SCIENCE AND INFORMATICS
During your studies, you will learn how to establish information networks, design websites, maintain hardware and software systems, and acquire many other practical IT skills.
You will be qualified to implement new ICT solutions within business environments, provide technical support, and advise users on the effective use of information and communication technologies in companies and other organisations.
Upon successful completion of the programme, graduates are awarded the professional title Computer Science and Informatics Technician.
COSMETOLOGY
The Cosmetology programme is ideal for anyone who enjoys working with people and wishes to expand their knowledge of beauty, cosmetic products, healthy lifestyles, skincare, massage techniques, skincare treatments, and the use of modern cosmetic equipment and technologies, while also developing entrepreneurial skills.
Upon enrolment, students receive a professional salon uniform together with a small and a large towel.
Upon successful completion of the programme, graduates are awarded the professional title Senior Cosmetologist.
LOGISTICS ENGINEERING
Logistics plays an increasingly important role in manufacturing-oriented companies, as it forms the foundation of efficient and successful business operations.
Professionals with expertise in logistics enjoy excellent career prospects, as demand for qualified logistics specialists continues to grow.
A qualification in logistics opens the door to a wide range of exciting career opportunities. Graduates may work in the development, organisation, coordination, and optimisation of supply chains, procurement, production processes, transportation, and warehousing.

MEDIA PRODUCTION
Due to the continuous emergence of new media and the constant development of information and communication technologies, Media Production is one of the most modern and future-oriented study programmes.
Students gain broad knowledge of the content, technology, and technical aspects of production systems. In addition to practical skills in audio and video production, photography, and computer graphics, the programme provides a solid foundation in media legislation, marketing, and business economics.

SOCIAL NETWORK ORGANISER
The Social Network Organiser programme is intended for individuals who enjoy working with people and care about supporting others facing personal or social challenges. The programme prepares students for careers that improve the quality of life of individuals and communities by helping them access appropriate social support networks and services.
The mission of a Social Network Organiser is to provide effective and proactive support to service users while coordinating the work of social welfare services and organisations, including social work centres, non-governmental organisations, residential care homes, youth homes, safe houses, maternity homes, and similar institutions.
Upon successful completion of the programme, graduates are awarded the professional title Social Network Organiser.
MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
During your studies, you will learn how to design, develop, and manufacture machines, devices, and systems for the conversion and utilisation of mechanical energy. The programme currently offers the highly relevant specialist module Automation and Robotics.
A strong emphasis is placed on laboratory work and practical exercises, as we cooperate with leading companies in the fields of robotics and automation.
Upon successful completion of the programme, graduates are awarded the professional title Mechanical Engineering Technician.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
In today’s rapidly changing world, where environmental challenges are becoming increasingly complex and unpredictable, Environmental Protection Engineers play a vital role in preserving the natural balance. This is a highly sought-after profession not only in Slovenia but internationally.
Through a practically oriented programme, students become familiar with methods of preventing harmful environmental impacts, learn how to develop solutions to environmental challenges, and acquire valuable knowledge in the maintenance and management of environmental infrastructure and facilities.
