Accessibility Statement

This Accessibility Statement applies to the website https://studenti.skupnost-vss.si/, which is maintained by the Association of Higher Vocational Colleges of the Republic of Slovenia. The website complies with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, Level AA.

Description of Accessible Content

  • The website allows users to view its content with colour contrast that complies with the WCAG 2.0 Level AA standard.
  • The website includes a sitemap, which is accessible from the main navigation.

  • The website has a clear, consistent, and easy-to-navigate structure.
  • The website can be navigated using a keyboard, with the keyboard focus clearly visible on the selected link.
  • Alternative text can be provided for all images.
  • The website uses clearly identifiable links.
  • With minor exceptions, the website is optimised for use with screen readers.

Inaccessible Content

The accessibility of the Association of Higher Vocational Colleges website (https://studenti.skupnost-vss.si/) is continuously monitored, and individual accessibility features are regularly improved. Nevertheless, some published content does not yet fully comply with all accessibility requirements set out in the Act on the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications. As a result, certain documents published on the Association’s website (https://studenti.skupnost-vss.si/)—particularly those intended for professional or specialised target audiences, or those whose complexity would make full accessibility a disproportionate burden—may not be fully accessible to users with different types of disabilities. Consequently, some content on individual pages remains only partially accessible. Despite this, the Association of Higher Vocational Colleges is committed to continuously improving the accessibility of all website content to ensure it is as inclusive as possible for all users, including those from vulnerable groups.

  • promotional visual materials containing embedded text (e.g. infographics),
  • certain video and audio content,

The inaccessible content is primarily due to the disproportionate burden that achieving full accessibility would impose in terms of the required human and financial resources. We nevertheless make every effort to provide accessible alternatives or implement accessible solutions for such content wherever possible.
